It was a thrill for our Apple Caramel Cheesecake Pie to be featured in The Bergen Record on December 30, 2015. Created based on a recipe handed down to me from a dear friend, this pie combines the best of everything: warm, comforting and decadent! It starts with a graham cracker crust made with homemade graham crackers and spices. Next we layer soft and creamy cheesecake-style filling, freshly-made caramel, a few towering pounds of sliced and spiced apples and top it all with brown sugar-cinnamon crumbs.
